Please enter an introduction for your news story here.

A very busy week began with a phone call from Estyn letting us know that they are coming to visit the school on the 3rd of March to inspect what we do at out school.

It is a wonderful opportunity for us to show our school exactly who we are and for all our amazing children to show off their hard work. I have always maintained that the inspection week will carry on as normal as we always do. We always start our extra-curricular clubs the second week after a holiday, and we will be in touch with those details week beginning 3rd of March.

Please remember that there will be an opportunity for you to meet the inspection team after school on Monday the 3rd of March. Would love as many of you there as possible to share your experiences of working with us at the school. Don’t forget you have until 11PM on Sunday the 16th to complete the questionnaire.

The local authority will be starting work next week on replacing the fascia on the shelter on our front yard. Please don’t be alarmed if you see fenced off areas on the yard - the structure is sound, just a cosmetic replacement.

Final notice from me is that the school meals menu will be changing from March 3rd! As soon as I have the menu, I will get it out to you, and you can discuss the new menu with the children to see what they would like. Remember every child in primary school in Wales is entitled to a free school meal.

As ever, if there is anything you wish to discuss with your class teacher, they are on hand at the end of each day. Thank you for your support.
