Another busy week flies by! I don’t know about you but this feels like quite a long term - must be because we had Estyn right at the start of this half term. ( The report is out on May 7th ) I know some schools in England have broken up today while we have one more week to go.
Had a wonderful set of Parents' Evenings this week - they reflect, too, what was said at the inspection. We have such a strong partnership with you as our families and the positive comments are always welcome.
Details about the Chocolate Tombola are in this newsletter - please look for that.
The classes will be looking at the story of Easter next week. It is an important event in the year for all schools in Wales, none more so than in the Church of Wales Schools.
There will be no clubs next week as we wind down for the end of the term.
The final 2 forest school sessions for Year 4 will be next Thursday and Friday - if they could come to school in their outdoor clothes please that would be great.
Once again I must thank those of you who do contact us at the school with any concerns. It really helps us, especially if the children have not told us about any issues. with the best will in the world, as good as we are at spotting things, we can’t be everywhere and even though we urge the children to tell us when they are upset so that we can help, some children invariably don’t. they leave it until they get home. We can’t do things if we don’t know about them. we can, and we very much do, when we do.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Kindest regards,
Mr Redgrave
