Dear Parents and Carers,
Back to normal for the newsletter this week – far too much pink on the last one!
Hope you had a restful half-term as we look towards the next half-term.
Huge thanks to Mrs Subacchi and the rest of the staff for looking after everything while I was in China. I certainly had an eventful trip and learnt a lot – I will share some photos in a later newsletter. Beijing is the busiest place I have ever seen.
Not as busy as we will get over the next few weeks as the run-up to Christmas begins. Our foyer is already trimmed out in its finest Christmas decorations with the main tree going up very soon. I mention this here as we have sent out today (Friday 7th) the tickets for the annual raffle to be held at the Christmas Quiz and HotPot night. This year it's cold hard cash as the 3 main prizes! There will also be the usual selection of smaller hampers on the night too.
THERE IS NO OBLIGATION TO SELL THESE TICKETS! If you do not wish to sell the tickets there is no problem. Please just send them back in to school.
For those who do want to sell the tickets we will give the pupils who do manage to sell the most in each class 10 free tickets into the draw as an incentive. We make a big deal on this raffle as it is a fantastic fundraiser and allows us to spend more money on the children.
Thank you for your continued support.
Have a wonderful weekend – Mr Redgrave
