I feel like I jinx the weather every time I try to sort the Sponsored Walk! Once again, I am sorry we had to cancel the sponsored walk event. I don’t think anyone would have enjoyed it in this weather!

Thank you to those who have already sent in the sponsorship form. We will work out the mileage and endeavour to do the walk around the school grounds.

I am also very aware that we have sent out the raffle tickets which means we are asking for a lot at this time of year. Please do not feel under any pressure to sell these, please just do what you can.

It is that time of year when lots of events take place. The Christmas Quiz and HotPot night tickets are on sale now and these have to be strictly limited due to its popularity and numbers fitting into the hall. I am looking at ways of making it cheat-free due to the number of phones used in last year's quiz! Don’t think I didn't see or find out about these things!!!!

We love seeing the children biking to school. Please could you talk to them about the safe use of the roads. This is in addition to the Bikeability scheme we run. I have seen some of our pupils swerving across the roads with no helmets. I can not stress enough the importance of wearing a helmet for safety.

Please could I ask you avoid driving onto the school grounds at the beginning and end of the school day if you see the gates open, even if you are late dropping off or picking up. Our site is too small to safely manage incoming and outgoing traffic. Many thanks for your help in this matter.
