Dear Parents and Guardians
As we edge ever closer to the summer holidays, it has been another fantastic week in school. Despite the continued hot weather, the children have thrown themselves into Sports Week with their usual enthusiasm. From climbing walls and table tennis to basketball, dance and so many other activities, it has been wonderful to see everyone having a go, trying something new and, most importantly, enjoying themselves.
Attendance has remained pleasingly high across most classes too, which is fantastic to see. These enrichment weeks only work when children are here to experience them, and they've certainly made the most of every opportunity.
It was also a real privilege to hold our Year 6 Leavers' Service this week, celebrating everything this wonderful group of children has achieved during their time with us. Then, to round off the week, our family picnic on Friday was an absolute delight. It was lovely to see so many families enjoying time together, and I have to say... Soak Sir was an outstanding success! I think still drying drying out!
All the best Ellis - he is competing in the RS Tera World Championship in Germany in Sailing . Good luck mate and hope you come back a Worldy!
Just one more week to go before a well-earned summer break. Let's make it a great one.
