Dear Parents and Guardians

Another week flies by!

It's been a really settled week this week in school. It's not a shock really, as the attendance has been good all week. When attendance is steady and the children attend all day every day, they become really comfortable and feel safe in their learning.

I have been really impressed with some of the Fiver challenge activities (see later in this newsletter for more details). Some children have put a lot of thought into what to do and how to do it! Thank you for supporting them with this.

It's been a superb financial education week and there is more to read about this in the class pages.

I will be closing the consultation for the new year 5 and 6 classes on Monday. Thank you for your thoughts so far (this is just for our current years 4 and 5 parents). It is interesting how a lot of what has been said to us matches our professional opinion. I will respond in full to each area with our thoughts and rationale. Needless to say, however, we won’t please everyone, but it is clear that you have our trust in getting the big decisions right - plus, we have our Estyn report that backs us in what we do.

Have a wonderful weekend

Thank you all once again for your support.

Kindest regards,

Mr Redgrave
