Dear Parents and Guardians
It certainly has been a busy couple of weeks here at school.
We really enjoyed sports day this year. We were very lucky with the weather and all the games were played in the spirit in which is intended. All pupils were able to generate points for their team in order to win Sports Day. We encourage, but never force, pupils to take part in competitive races, with great success. It is important that they learn that there are times when there are winners and losers. We are looking forward to the big final in our sports week!
Some of our Year 6 learners have been enjoying their transition activities to Ysgol Glan Clwyd for the last few weeks. This week saw the learners going to Denbigh and some other schools. This meant that we welcomed our new intake, and our existing classes moved up to their new classes. I know there is a big change to our Years 5 and 6 for next year - we are delighted with how it has gone so far and the vast majority of feedback from parents has been positive. I will be compiling a response to the document we sent out to alleviate any concerns about how it will work. Thank you, though, for your trust and support as we navigate the next stage for Esgob Morgan.
As we head further into the summer months, can you please ensure that your child has the appropriate clothing, suncream and water that you wish them to have to stay safe in the sun. Your help is much appreciated!
Have a wonderful weekend
Kindest regards,
Mr Redgrave
