News Sept 19th 2025

Dear Parents and Guardians
I hope you have all had a pleasant week.
This is our weekly newsletter. It is packed full of information from whole school activities right down to the class activities. All of our dates are on our calendar on our website, esgobmorgan.co.uk Please note that these dates can change and we try to give as much notice to everyone.
I break down the pages so that you can read them all, but save the ones for your child’s class. However, if you are ever unsure, then please do see the online calendar. Saves the Sunday night WhatsApps!
This week's newsletter contains information about Kick It, an external agency that wishes to run a few courses here at the school. There is a poster advertising our harvest service at the Cathedral. As well, there is a sheet full of important dates for your diary. Applications for high school for our Year 6 learners are now open. Please go to Denbighshire’s Website to apply. The dates are in this week's newsletter.
Applications for Head boy and Head girl have closed. Shortlisting will take place next week with interviews by the school council by Friday.
As you know, I like to welcome everyone to school in the morning as often as I can and there are SO many people who are choosing NOT to use the one-way system. On Wednesday morning, I saw some truly shocking driving by multiple cars, and we have already had a crash into a resident's wall.
How you drive and where you drive is none of my business. However, the safety of YOUR children is my priority. I know I can not make you drive the one-way system, it is entirely voluntary, but I urge you to. For the safety of our children. I have created a handy map for those who don’t know the way in this newsletter. Thank you for your help.
