My name is Sam Emmet and I become a parent Governor three years ago and I now serve as a community Governor. I am currently employed in Higher Education as lecturer in Education, which includes teaching and educational research. I began working in education as a teaching assistant in Primary Education before moving on to teach and design Community educational programmes.
I have a passion for the past, which grew from studying Medieval History and Archaeology as well as from working on a variety of Archaeological projects.
My hobbies and interests include boardgames, (which is another sector which I have been lucky to have been employed in the past) and reading (thrillers, historical dramas and educational theory).
