Dear Parents and Guardians
Welcome back, everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful half term and were able to enjoy that glorious stretch of sunshine—it certainly felt like summer had arrived early, and we hope it brought lots of opportunities for rest, play, and time together.
As we settle back into the school routine, there are a few important updates in this newsletter that we’d like to draw your attention to—particularly around arrangements for walking home from school. Please take a moment to read this section carefully, as it helps us ensure all children are safe and go home in the correct way each day.
We also wanted to share a small reminder following comments made by the inspection team from Estyn. One of the areas highlighted was that children’s snack choices could be improved. While we want to reassure you that we will not be policing lunchboxes or snacks, we do encourage children to bring a healthy snack for break time. This remains entirely your choice as parents, but if we notice particularly unhealthy options, staff may have a gentle conversation with children to encourage healthier habits. No one will be “told off”.
As always, thank you for your continued support—it really does make a difference. We’re looking forward to another busy and successful half term ahead!
