News June 12th 2026

Dear Parents and Guardians
We were very much looking forward to our Sports Day, so it was disappointing that we weren’t able to continue due to the rain. We are hopeful that we will be able to hold it on the back up day, Thursday 18th June. Despite the change in plans, it was fantastic to finally complete our sponsored walk, and we are so proud of everyone who took part with such enthusiasm and thank you to those who could join us on the walk.
We’ve noticed that attendance tends to dip slightly on days when we have special events planned. We completely understand that schedules can be busy, but we always aim to make these occasions fun, inclusive, and memorable for all. Thank you, as always, for your continued support—we look forward to many more enjoyable events together.
Next week is Financial Education Week, and we are excited to continue building on the already excellent work taking place in school. The children will be exploring financial concepts through meaningful, real-life contexts to help develop their understanding and confidence in a practical and engaging way.
Finally, we would like to wish all of the children moving on to Ysgol Glan Clwyd for their extended Welsh immersion the very best. We hope they settle in quickly and enjoy this exciting next step in their learning journey.
