Please enter an introduction for your news story here.

Welcome back. I hope you all had a wonderful two weeks off and, for all those who celebrate, you had a restful Easter.

We have had a really settled week in school, even if the attendance has been a bit iffy! The children have all come back with a positive attitude. It’s a very short half term this first half term - only four weeks and next week is only four days! For this reason, due to a variety of things, we are unable to present the clubs as we would like for the next 3 weeks.

We do have Kick It who will be running a club on Thursdays and more details can be found in this Newsletter.

I must stress that we need to know where your children are if they are not in school. Please, if your children are off school for whatever reason, even if it is unauthorised (there are no judgements here) please let us know.

I have been dealing with a few incidents at break times and lunch times surrounding “roasting”. For those of you who don’t know what this is , it is a term used and made popular by comedians. It involves saying incredibly unkind and unpleasant things to each other for a “joke”. These can be deeply offensive personal things about appearance, things they say or family members. Please talk to your children about this and it will strengthen the schools position on that unkind words should never be said in a school setting just for a “joke”. It is causing quite a bit of upset when things go too far.

Please bear with us as the ParentPay issue with the school meals rumbles on! They know about the issue and are working on it. The school meals menu is here weekly, it is also on the school website and it is on display in the school and the children can still make their choice on the day.

Have a wonderful , long weekend

Kindest regards,

Mr Redgrave
