Welcome back for our last term in year 5! I can't believe we're in June already. Please ensure you read the newsletter which is posted weekly to the school website, Facebook and text to you. 

We have lots of exciting weeks this term, including; my money week, sports week, refugee week, sports day and Fiver Challenge!

Please can I ask you to encourage your child to read each night. We have a brilliant reading program in school called Accelerated Reader which I'm sure you've heard about. The program sets targets and recommends books for your child's reading ability.  The target set is based on 15 minutes of reading a day, of which we do 30 minutes in school every morning, yet there are still pupils not meeting their target. There is an opportunity for you to get emails when your child quizzes on books also.  

Please check your child's SeeSaw account, where today, they have posted their target for this term. This shows a rocket moving towards their goal.
